Wow, this is the year that trailers for trailers became the new big idea. First Prometheus with its countdowns and now Total Recall remake which will have its trailer released on Sunday. Sad days indeed.

Universal have announced a 3D conversion for Jurassic Park to be released July 19th 2013. Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

In other news, looks like both the Machete and Sin City sequels will film this year. Nice one. Also news that World War Z has been put back 6 months to June 21st 2013. No big screen zombie action for over a year then.

Another week, another free preview! This time took along god-daughter Georgiana and Lucas as 4 free tickets this time round. It’s a good old fashioned family drama with a feel good ending. Based on a true story (here’s the link to the real zoo it is based on). 

Matt Damon puts in a great performance and only manages to beat up a barrel throughout the movie so very restrained there!

Overall very enjoyable for a family viewing, although the central theme may not be suitable for the younger kids out there.
